FAQ

HYROX is the fitness race for Every Body. If you are over 16 years old and want to take on the challenge, you are more than welcome at HYROX.  With Pro, Open, Doubles and Relay Divisions, there is a race for every one. For example, our oldest competitor is 73 years old and still smashing it! And there are no qualification requirements or time caps.

HYROX races are normally organised in large indoor expo venues, consuming over 10.000m2 of fitness, each HYROX race is big enough to cover 3 soccer pitches!

Sydney and Melbourne are the Australian debut events for 2023 – both will take place at their respective Showgrounds!

And the plan is to add Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland to the series in 2024!

In order to qualify for the HYROX World Championships, you need to participate in any one of our global races.

Depending on your division and age group, a certain number of Qualifying slots are awarded at each race.  If you are one of those who perform on the day, you’ll receive an invitation to the WC and have up to 48 hours to claim your spot, otherwise it will roll down to the next competitor.

Note: There are no qualification spots for the HYROX Relay.
