Equipment can be delivered to the following address between the dates and times shown:

  • Deliveries to: MCEC Exhibition bays 1-10 accessed via roller doors 1-5.
  • Delivery Label HERE
  • Delivery Time Window: Fri 22/05 between 1000 -1600 hours AEST

Note:

MCEC will not accept responsibility for arranging freight deliveries or costs associated with this and will not sign possession of goods from couriers on behalf of exhibitors.

Goods must not be sent to the loading dock before the scheduled times for the move-in of your event (1000 Friday 28 June) and all goods must be collected by the end of the official move-out time (2100 Monday 1 July).

For all deliveries please ensure a representative is onsite to receive to take possession of these goods. MCEC will not accept deliveries on HYROX/exhibitors’ behalf.

Any couriers attempting to deliver before the event move-in will be redirected to return during the event tenancy.

Any leftover goods / abandoned freight will be disposed of if not collected by the end of your event tenancy (2100 Monday 1 July).

Venue Access Requirements:

  • ID
  • High Vis Jackets
  • Closed toe shoes
  • Completed Venue Induction
  • Children under 15 years are not permitted

Bump In Times are as follows:

  • Friday XX of XX between XX and XX hours AEST
  • Access is via XX Gate

Facilities availability during bump in:

  • Forklifts & drivers will // will not be available (TBC)
  • Pump trucks will // will not be available (TBC)
  • Electrical power will // will not be available (TBC)
  • WC’s will be available onsite
  • Vending machines are available for F&B, or BYO

On race day, access to the venue will be strictly via the main pedestrian entrance only. No vehicular or loading dock access is permitted.

HYROX personnel will be able to gain access from 0500 hours.

Partners, Exhibitors and Crew will be able to gain access from 0600 hours.

Equipment can be bumped out on Monday 3rd February between 0600 – 1700 hours.

Arrive at Alexandra Park, as they offer full-day parking for only $10.

Located just 400m from the Auckland Showgrounds and sporting enough space for approximately 2,000 vehicles.

They have two entrances with the most convenient entrance being located on Campbell Crescent just off Manukau Road, with a second entrance on Green Lane West.

The helpful, friendly car parking attendees will assist you on the day at the gates and within the grounds to park your car safely.

For First Aid, MCEC’s main first aid room is located off the Convention Centre foyer, adjacent to the security control room. A smaller first aid room is located off the Exhibition Centre foyer.

For the purposes of protecting PII, it is assumed that by virtue of you reading this page, you are already in contact with one or more of these Hyrox personnel

Each partner or vendor is required to have Public Liability insurance in place for the value of AUD 20 Million per incident.

A current certificate of insurance must be provided electronically to your Hyrox contact partner no later than 8 weeks before the race.

All electrical leads intended for use within the venue need to be tagged and tested in accordance with Australian Standards before use on-site. This includes any brand-new leads.

All activities are to comply with WorkSafe Victoria. Please refer to the requirements HERE

All food handling must be conducted following the Victorian Department of Health requirements. Please refer to their Food Safety Regulations & Laws HERE.

Any exhibitor/partner wishing to provide F&B samples will need to comply with MCEC Sampling and Selling guidelines and complete the Sampling and selling approval request

Note: It is very important to understand the required compliance with handwashing requirements with any exhibitors/partners providing any sampling, as the City of Melbourne are very strict around temporary plumbed hot water facilities being available for certain food and beverage elements.
